The Forestry programme prepares students for the sustainable management, protection and conservation of forest ecosystems. Students study forest ecology, silviculture, forest management, environmental protection, forest economics and natural resource management, combining theoretical knowledge with practical applications.

NON-EU Candidates – Early Admission Session 2026
30th March – 29th May (17:00) – registration of candidates on the online platform
30th May – 4th June – evaluation of school performance and personal achievements
05th June (17:00) – publication of results
05th June – submission of appeals via intstudent@uvvg.ro
06th June – 18th June – confirmation of places by paying tuition fee and signing study contract
19th June (12:00) – redistribution of candidates and publication of final results
Important: July–August and September sessions are only for remaining available places after Early Admission. Early Admission is strongly recommended.
EU Candidates – July-August Session 2026
04th May – 31st July (17:00) – registration of candidates on the online platform
02nd August (10:00) – multiple choice admission test
02nd August (17:00) – publication of results
02nd August – submission of appeals
03rd – 06th August – confirmation of places by paying tuition fee, signing study contract, and submitting personal file
07th August (16:00) – redistribution of vacant seats and publication of final results
Key Semester Information
Fall Semester: Usually begins in October and runs until January, including winter exams.
Spring Semester: Usually begins in February and runs until June, including summer exams.
Structure
Full-time, on-campus studies with lectures, seminars, practical work, laboratory activities, and clinical practice.

Application and File Processing Fees
Application Fee — Romanian and EU Citizens: 350 LEI
File Processing Fee — Romanian Citizens with Diplomas Obtained Abroad & EU Citizens (applies only to admitted candidates): 2,500 LEI
Application & File Processing Fee — Non-EU Citizens, Health Sciences Field: 3,500 LEI
Application & File Processing Fee — Non-EU Citizens, Law / Economics / Social and Human Sciences Fields: 2,000 LEI
Application Fee — Preparatory Year in Romanian Language: 500 LEI
Admission Appeal Fee: 1,000 LEI
Important for International Applicants
All academic documents must be legalized and translated according to Romanian legislation. Original documents may be requested by the university. The entire admission process is completed online through: admitere.uvvg.ro
For candidates applying through an agency, Step 3/4 of the platform must include the agency name for official registration.
NON-EU candidates are strongly advised to apply during Early Admission because later sessions only use remaining available places.
